LG Electronics sources have confirmed to SmartHouse that they will reveal a new Android Honeycomb Tablet at CES this week in Las Vegas.
There is also speculation that the Company will show both a 8.9″ and 10″ Tablet in an effort to take on Samsung who have now sold over 1,000,000 7″ Galaxy Tablets which in the USA have been dropped to sub $500. In Australia retailers like JB Hi Fi and Harvey Norman who have a big advantage with the strong Australian dollar are selling the same device for $899 which is $400 more expensive than the US price for the same device.
The Korea Times is reporting that the new tablet will be a 8.9-inch and run Honeycomb/Android 3.0.
LG is also going to show off auto-stereoscopic 3D mobile displays which allow drivers moving at fast pace to watch 3D video enabled billboards.
