According to LG, this new handset has a scratch-resistant 3.2-inch touchscreen and is installed with its new ‘Phantom Browser’ that delivers fast web browsing and support for flash animation. It also supports Gmail, Google Calendar and Maps, with navigation tools offering Intelligent Zoom and Touch-to-Zoom capabilities.
Social networking integration on the LG Mini allows users to be kept up to date with friends’ status updates, tweets and other activities through the built-in ‘Linkbook’ application that delivers updates automatically to the home screen. It also comes with a 5 megapixel camera and FM radio.
LG Australia’s Senior Category Marketing Manager, Mobile Communications, Brad Reed said, “The LG Mini is the next step in providing style-conscious consumers with an elegant and clever mobile phone.”
“LG has a heritage in uniquely designed phones which stand out from the crowd. From the original LG Chocolate to the more recent LG Crystal, we’re constantly pushing the design boundaries and have continued this approach with the LG Mini – plus we’ve ensured that it is highly capable, feature rich and supports the latest online consumer trends.”
The LG Mini is available now through Vodafone, 3, Telechoice, Allphone and Crazy John’s stores.
