If new reports are to be believed, it looks like LG may be planning to get back into the tablet market after two years in the wilderness by unveiling a new device soon.
According to a blog post, first spotted by XDA Developers, a new LG tablet called the G Pad 5 has been listed on two certification websites, with most of its specifications also revealed.
The device will apparently feature a 10.1-inch 1920×1200 display, LTE support, a fingerprint reader and a single selfie camera, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and most surprisingly, will be powered by the three-year old Snapdragon 821 processor and won’t have NFC support.
Via the kernel source files, details about several variants of the G Pad 5 were revealed, as well as two different battery capacities – 6,000mAh and 8,200mAh.
The tablet is also said to offer Android 9 Pie with LG UX customisations.
