LG have announced the Australian availability of the $179 entry-level K4 smartphone.
The K4 will join Telstra’s range of budget smartphones aimed at pre-paid customers. According to LG, the K4 is “a great option for users on a budget” thanks to the range of features it packs in, including a 2,500mAh removable battery and a 8.1mm slimline profile.
Both the front 8-megapixel and rear 5-megapixel cameras incorporate LG’s Auto Shot and Gesture Shot for taking photos without pressing the shutter, and a microSD card slot allows additional memory to be added to the K4’s 8GB internal memory.
Other features like a 5-inch 480p display and the Android Marshmallow operating system reflect the entry-level position of the smartphone.
LG’s K4 is available from Telstra stores now for RRP $179.
