LG is believed to have cut a deal to launch a power packed 4G LTE Optimus G smartphone in Australia.The device which is twice as powerful as the Samsung Galaxy S3 or the new Apple iPhone comes with the new Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor.
Telstra is tipped to be the first carrier that will range the new smartphone.
According to local LG sources, the Company is set to “make a major splash” in the communications market running into the last quarter of 2012.
The new smartphone is called the Optimus G, will run Android 4.0: Ice Cream Sandwich, will have 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera and a 4.7-inch screen which uses LG’s True HD IPS technology.
