LG Electronics has launched its 2021 LG soundbar line up, which features Meridian Horizon technology.
The five models released in LG’s 2021 range — the SP11RA, SP9YA, SP8YA, SP7Y and SPD7Y – feature Meridian Horizon, which increases the number of available channels to provide “immersive multichannel audio from two channel stereo content, regardless of listening position or location in the room.”
Such technology gives a multi-dimensional soundstage with premium, immersive sound.
LG and Meridian have worked closely since 2018, teaming up for a series of soundbars, earphones, smartphones, and speakers.
“We understand the value that combining the expertise of different teams can bring to innovative projects,” explains John Buchanan, CEO, Meridian Audio.
“Our ambition is to enable people to listen, enjoy and fall in love with their music and movies wherever they are.”
Aside from the LG partnership, Meridian Audio have also teamed with Land Rover, Kia, and Jaguar on their in-car audio systems.
