The Pulse smartpen is a device that captures handwriting and simultaneously records audio and synchronises it to the writing. The 4GB Pulse smartpen provides more than 400 hours of recorded audio, while the 2GB model can store more than 200 hours of recorded audio. Both devices provide ample storage for consumers to add applications offering entertainment, education and productivity tools.
Livescribe’s Director of Internal Sales, Remo Behdasht said that it is committed to expand the availability of Livescribe products to consumers.
“Livescribe entered the Australian market with Officeworks as its primary national retailer, at the end of 2008. We have spent the last 16 months building our retail footprint in the Australian market, with Dick Smith, JB HiFi, Harvey Norman, WoW Sight and Sound, NextByte, and Apple stores now selling our products,” said Behdasht.
In addition to the Pulse smartpen, consumers may also buy the latest Livescribe accessories such as the Premium Leather Case ($39.95), 2-Pack of Black Lined Premium Bound journals ($39.95), 4-Pack of A4 ($39.95), A5 notebooks ($29.95), Pro-Charging Cradles ($49.95) or 5-Pack of ink cartridges ($9.95).
