Logitech has unveiled four new new G-series gaming headsets, set to launch worldwide by February end. The new range includes its most “technically advanced” headset yet, the ‘G935.’
The new Logitech G935 (US$169.99) boosts surround sound output to DTS Headphone:X 2.0, complemented by Pro-G 50mm audio drivers. Made with a hybrid mesh material, Logitech asserts the headphones deliver a fuller sound and deeper bass.
The G935 is also Logitech’s first headset to feature LightSync technology on its earcups – syncing RGB lighting across all Logitech G items.
Similar to Logitech’s G650 speaker system, the new G935 headset can synchronise lighting to on-screen content.
The wireless headphones offer a 12 hour battery life, and are compatible with mobile phones, gaming consoles and PCs.
The new G935 bears a strong resemblance to its predecessor, with the addition of pleather earcups.
Proving that software upgrades are at the heart of its new headset line, the devices all support ‘G Hub.’
Whilst further information is yet to be revealed, G Hub claims to be a “clean and modern interface”, customising device profiles on a per-game basis.
The four new headsets will vary from US$59.99 to US$169.99, with Australian pricing to be confirmed.
The new Logitech G635 is similar to the G935, however, is a wired option for US$139.99.
Capitalising on the growth of Fortnite and PUBG, the new headsets offer a “definitive audio advantage” to gamers.
For the budget conscious, the new line includes the wired GS432 for US$79.99, boasting 7.1 surround sound, DTS Headphone:X 2.0 and leatherette earcups.
Like the GS432, flip-to-mute mic capabilities are also deployed on the affordable G332 headset (US$59.99).
