A new PC wireless gaming headset from Logitech featuring advanced audio performance and professional grade wireless technology has been launched at CES 2017.
The Logitech G533 combines DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround sound technology and Pro-G audio drivers along with lossless digital audio transmission for high fidelity transmitted up to 15 metres away. The ultra-low latency connection delivers “virtually no lag” according to Logitech, whether playing games, watching movies or streaming media.
“Our audio team set out to create a headset that delivers the most immersive and accurate PC gameplay experience,” said Ujesh Desai, vice president and general manager of the Logitech gaming business.
“With DTS Headphone:X and our Pro-G Driver, the result is amazing. Now, you can amplify game sounds to achieve the most accurate positioning and experience in-game effects,” Mr Desai added.
High quality materials and techniques are used to manufacture the Logitech G533, with a lightweight design and breathable sports mesh ear pads ideal for extended wear. The rechargeable and replaceable batteries can deliver up to 15 hours of continuous use.
The headset is also easily customisable, featuring an extendable boom on the noise-cancelling microphone (which can also be folded up to mute), easy to reach volume controls on the left earcup, and options like equaliser, surround sound and microphone levels able to be adjusted in Logitech Gaming Software.
Logitech’s G533 wireless gaming headset will be available globally beginning in January 2017, with details of an Australian release expected closer to launch.
