March the 30th is firming as a potential date for the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S3.
In an unusual move yesterday, Samsung Australia launched a 4G version of their highly popular Galaxy S II on the Telstra network. The move is believed to have been pushed by Telstra who are looking for 4G products for their new LTE 4G network.
The latest version of the very popular Galaxy S II isn’t just the old version: it has a fast 1.5 GHz dual core (compared to 1.2 GHz dual core), along with a new 4.5 inch screen (the original S2 has a 4.3 inch screen).
The first hint that Samsung was planning the launch of their new Galaxy S 3 came when an Oxford Street Phones4U store in London refreshed its shop front windows with advertisement boasting the imminent launch of the new smartphone with the Samsung logo and the words “Coming 30/3/2012.”
