McAfee has announced that its consumer security suites are now compatible with Windows Vista.
The upgrade is available to all active subscribers of the suites – Total Protection, Internet Security, PC Protection Plus and VirusScan Plus – free of charge.
McAfee says the upgrade enhances Vista by offering advanced protection against a range of security threats and attacks.
According to McAfee’s director of APAC consumer sales, Monica Kelly: “Even with new releases like Windows Vista that are designed with security in mind, it’s critical for us to ensure that the technology we provide is compatible with and enhances the operating system itself.”
