Microsoft who is struggling to get consumers to use their Bing search engine, has still not cut a deal to integrate Twitter and Facebook.
According to AllThingsD, Twitter and Microsoft are still far apart on a deal that would keep Twitter feeds on Bing.
The sticking points include price and terms of the data licensing, as well how Bing would display tweets and links to advertising.
TechFlash claims that Twitter is trying to avoid what happened with Google. The two companies failed to extend a data-stream licensing deal recently, according to AllThingsD.
They claim that Twitter could be eager to strike a deal with Microsoft, because Google’s new social network Google+ could wind up being a Twitter competitor.
Bing has only 14.4 market share Vs Yahoo with 30.2 percent and Google with 65.5 percent.
