Microsoft Hardware Australia has launched the Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000, a wireless keyboard and mouse that the company claims, will ‘transform the desktop computing experience.’

Microsoft Australia’s Product Marketing Manager for Entertainment and Devices Division, Scott Jackson said: “With innovative new products like the Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000, we are continuing our commitment to developing new hardware products that meet the evolving ways consumers are integrating technology into their lives. No longer are keyboards and mice simply about typing and clicking, they are an extension of the individual’s personality.”
According to Microsoft, both the mouse and keyboard can be charged in one easy-to-use charging station and will remain fully functioning while charging. The docking station will also have three available Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0 ports for additional connectivity.

The Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000 will be available starting this month and will have an RRP of $449.95
