The rangehood was one of the first rangehoods to use a combination of glass and stainless steel, which in addition to safety features and functionality is what has made the DA 249 stand the test of time, Miele claims.
Design-wise, the curved glass screen of the safety glass covers the cooktop while the brushed stainless steel of the rangehood’s chimney section is gently rounded. The electronic controls are placed centrally at eye level, for simple and convenient operation, Miele says.
In celebration of the rangehood’s 10th birthday, Miele is offering the stainless steel version for $2,299 and the aluminium version of the rangehood for $2,499.
