Mitsubishi Electric has been awarded a Guinness World Record for the longest running cross-flow-fan air conditioner brand, following the company’s invention of the technology in 1968.
The Japanese-based company is known for its wide range of air conditioners including; ducted, multi-split and small split systems.
A spokesperson affirms the accolade reflects Mitsubishi Electric air conditioner’s market leading performance, and suitability for the “tough Australian market”.
The company’s cross-flow-fan technology has become the foundation for its current air conditioner range, including the energy efficient MSZ-GL and MSZ-FH Series.
