Motorola’s Moto G Play, designed to deliver smartphone essentials at an affordable price point, has launched in the Australian market.The 4G LTE G Play sports a 5″ HD display, runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, comes with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage with up to 128 GB microSD support, a 2,800 mAh battery and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor.
“With the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with quad-core CPU, the Moto G Play delivers fast and snappy performance and makes playing games, switching apps, data transfer seem like a cakewalk,” Motorola states.
“The Moto G Play runs at 4G LTE speeds, so you can stream smoothly and browse the web with ease.”
It is decked out with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, with it shooting “crystal clear photos, videos at 30 fps in 1080p, with the 8 MP camera featuring a fast f/2.2 aperture and a camera sensor that uses larger-than-average pixels”.
“A 5 MP front-facing camera with features like beautification mode and Best Shot takes stunning selfies with ease and makes you stand out when you share them with your friends and family,” Motorola states.
The G Play also comes with Google Photo free storage for up to two years in the original resolution.
The G Play is available today in black from Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Officeworks, and in black and white from Motorola’s website for $279.00.
