Motorola has partnered with Vodafone to bring its new Moto X family of smartphones to Australia, with the Moto X Style and Moto X Play set to land in the local market from next month.In addition to introducing the Style and Play, Motorola has announced that its Moto G smartphone is also making its way to the Australian market, to be available later in 2015.
The Style sports a 5.7″ 1440p quad-HD edge-to-edge display, is powered by a hexa-core 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 808 processor, comes with 3 GB DDR RAM, and is available with internal storage of either 16, 32 or 64 GB, with microSD card support for up to 128 GB.
Available with a real wood back, the Style, which runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, is decked out with a 21 MP main camera and a 5 MP front camera.
The Style will be available from early September for $3 per month on Vodafone’s $80 Red plan over 24 months.
Powered by an octa-core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 615 processor, the Play sports an edge-to-edge 5.5″ 1080p full-HD display, comes with 2 GB RAM, either 16 or 32 GB internal storage, with microSD card support for up to 128 GB, and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It is decked out with a 21 MP main camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera.
Motorola has additionally advised that a variant of the Play may be released outright through retail partners at a later date.
The Play will be available from early September for $5 per month on a $40 plan over 24 months.

The Moto G, meanwhile, sports a 5″ HD display, is powered by a quad-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, comes with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, with microSD card support for up to 32 GB, and is decked out with a 13 MP main camera and 5 MP front-facing camera.
The Moto G will be available outright from selected retailers, carrying a recommended price tag of $369.
