Motorola has confirmed that its Google Android phone, Motorola Milestone, will be available exclusively to Optus customers from 7 July 2010.

The Milestone is one of the thinnest QWERTY slider phone as it only measure 13.7mm. It also comes with a 3.7-inch multi-touchscreen, a high-speed cortex A8 processor, 5-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, and 8GB memory card. The unit also offers the ability to use multiple applications at once.
Motorola ANZ and South Pacific’s Managing Director, Timo Brouwer said, “The Motorola Milestone breaks down the barriers for consumers to create and consume media on the go – providing a rich mobile web experience, superior messaging and top-of-the-line multi-media features.”

The Motorola Milestone will be available in Australia exclusively at Optus from $0 on the yes Social $49, 24 month plan and to small business customers for $0 on the $49 yes Business Complete 24 month plan.
