Motorola and Optus are launching a new sports, news, entertainment content delivery service called Screen3 which will be available on all Optus Motorazr V9 and Motokrzr K1 handsets.
Screen3 does not need to be activated by any buttons or via a browser, it sits at the bottom of the home screen, and users can keep scrolling down with the option to access content in more detail when desired, the company explains.
Optus says it’s the first carrier in Australia to offer Screen 3, joining a growing list of mobile carriers around the world offering the service.
“This new service from Motorola will provide our 3G customers with another convenient way to receive information on their handsets,” said Group Marketing Director, Optus Consumer Michael Smith.
Content for the Screen3 service will be provided through a partnership with leading technology provider, iTouch and News Digital Media.
