MSI has launched the MAG342CQRV, a new curved gaming monitor with a 34-inch, ultra-wide display that supports resolution up to 3440×1440, a 100Hz refresh rate and a 1ms VA panel.
“Compared to the traditional 16:9 panel, Ultrawide’s 21:9 panel increases the screen size so that the gamers can enjoy a wider viewing angle. Gamers can display multiple windows at the same time, thereby significantly improving operation and game efficiency,” MSI said.
In addition, the 100Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time in the VA panel allows gamers to excel in fast-paced games that require quick and precise movements.
The curved monitor is also built with Adaptive Sync technology to achieve smooth visuals during gameplay. This technology syncs the refresh rate of your monitor with your GPU to eliminate screen tearing or stuttering.
The Gaming OSD App allows users to control and customise monitor display for different software, and also enables in-game hotkeys to adjust display settings. The app’s ‘Night Vision’ computes the details in the dark area of the screen to be amplified as opposed to brightening the whole screen, which causes overexposure.
