Taiwanese gaming brand, MSI, has today unveiled its new gaming laptop – the ‘GS65 Stealth Thin’ – a world first ultra-thin device which claims to herald in a new era of “stylish gaming”.
Now available to pre-order, the MSI GS65 Stealth Thin (A$3,399) will go on sale at several Australian retailers from mid-April.
Pre-orders before April 16th will receive a complimentary 1-year ‘Care Warranty Extension Service’ (valued at $170).
MSI claims its new GS65 Stealth Thin is the world’s first gaming laptop to feature a 144Hz display with 4.9mm thin bezels, producing a striking 82% screen-to-body ratio.
With a 15.6-inch display screen, the GS65 features a 7ms response time and 144Hz refresh rate.
With gold accents and a “diamond-cutting trim”, the new GS65 Stealth Thin aims to break “every gaming laptop stereotype”.
Waving goodbye to heavy gaming laptops, the GS65 weighs a comparatively light 1.8kg, and endeavours to be more attractive to female gamers, or those who crave better portability. A smaller power adaptor further compliments this.
SteelSeries’ long awaited per-key RBG keyboard has also landed on the GS65 Stealth Thin, enhanced with ‘16.8 million colours’ animated effects.
The new GS65 also welcomes Dragon Centre 2.0, with an exclusive gaming mode. The new redesigned Dragon Centre comes with a sleeker user interface, system performance optimisation, and game-specific lighting for several new titles.
Powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-8750H processor, the GS65 Stealth Thin ships with all updates installed and features an 8 hour battery life.
MSI claims the GS65 offers a 40% performance enhancement over the previous generation, complimented with GEFORCE® GTX 10 series graphics for striking gaming.
With high resolution audio, the GS65 supports up to 24bit/192 kHz.
To ensure gamers remain “calm” and “sharp”, the GS65 incorporates MSI’s advanced cooling system, the Cooler Boost Trinity.
