The National Australia Bank (NAB) has launched an app that it says will enable customers to use voice prompts to find information about the bank’s products and services.
Dubbed the “Talk to NAB” app, it can be accessed via Google Assistant running on a Google Home device, or Android or iOS smartphones.
The app is currently able to recognise and communicate information on topics such as credit cards, loans or Internet banking. But the NAB says it is working on more applications, including answering more banking questions and performing more tasks. It is currently unable to call up information on a user’s NAB bank accounts.
