Network Ten’s catch-up and streaming service tenplay has landed on Telstra TV, with Telstra TV viewers able to access the service from today.Ten states tenplay on Telstra TV is the latest addition to its “TV Everywhere” strategy, with Telstra TV viewers able to access content from channels Ten, Eleven and One.
“Telstra TV is a great opportunity for streaming growth and is the next step in tenplay’s cross-platform strategy, offering a first-class viewing experience wherever our audiences are,” Ten chief digital officer Rebekah Horne commented.
“Some of our biggest and most compelling entertainment, drama, comedy and sport programs are available to watch straight away on Telstra TV, including MasterChef Australia, TBL Families, The Project 7pm, Mary: The Making Of A Princess, the 2015 ARIA Awards, Homeland, Madam Secretary, The Good Wife and Neighbours.”
Horne added that a range of content is on its way next year, including I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, Shark Tank, MasterChef Australia, The Bachelor Australia, Offspring, Australian Survivor, Brock, The Wrong Girl and Long Lost Family.
“In 2016, tenplay will continue to grow its distribution, content and functionality, including more live streaming of big prime-time shows and expanding across more platforms,” Horne stated.
Ten states that there have been more than 2.35 million downloads of the tenplay app since its launch in September 2013.
