Equipped with an (optional) DreamVision Face Recognition Solution (DFRS) the notebook automatically captures faces, extracts facial characteristics, compares against those in the database and finds a match. If it doesn’t recognise you — no entry.

One of the advantages is that the system is able to recognise identity without the need of physical contact. When an unauthorised individual comes into the viewing area, DFRS automatically captures and recognises the face, delivers a message to relevant parties, and stores the facial image for further inspection. The features of hands-off operation and auto-image-storage make an interesting combination of access control features for those wanting to protect sensitive data and monitor unauthorised access.
The recognition process takes less than one second and is said to have a success rate of better than with over 99 per cent (based on a test of 500 faces).
