The AVR260 comes with full HDMI Repeater capability and Faroudja DCDi Cinema video processing with upscaling to 1080p for crystal clear picture performance. It also the first in the line up to feature Harman Kardon’s widely praised full-colour high definition graphical on screen display.
The AVR360 and AVR660 feature the new Dolby Volume technology that analyses, measures and controls perceived volume levels, removing that need to adjust the volume during every commercial break and even switching between channels.
The new receivers also come with an updated graphical on-screen interface which claims to make navigation as clear as possible, has an EzSet/EQ equalization that takes the guess work out of setting up your system, and automatically corrects “lip sync” problems with its HDMI Lip Sync capability and manual A/V Sync Delay. Finally, the multi-device, programmable remote control puts all the receiver’s features at the tip of your fingertips.
The AVR660, AVR360, AVR260 and AVR160 will be available from this month for $3999, $1499, $1199 and $999 respectively.
