RTI, the maker of high end remote controls, is set to take on the Philips Pronto remote with a new 7″ widescreen touchscreen remote control.
Set to be launched at the CEDIA Expo in the USA next week the new ZigBee-compatible touchscreen will be launched in Australia shortly.

The ST-7 also has an Ethernet port and IP intercom and a trackball for easy navigation of the screens software. It can be mounted on a wall or used remotely.The new device will compete with offerings from Philips as well as new touchscreens from Switch Automation, AMX and Crestron.
