New Budget Cameras From Samsung

Samsung has rolled out four new digital cameras for users who want a good camera but are on a budget.

Samsung PL60

The PL60 and PL50 comes with a Smart Auto mode that claims to automatically select from one of eleven scene settings to take the best picture in any situation. It also comes with a Samsung Perfect Portrait System which includes Beauty Shot, Face Detection, Self Portrait, Smile Shot, Blink Detection and red-eye fix.

The cameras also come with rechargeable Li-Ion batteries as well as a 10.2-megapixel sensor. In addition, the PL60 also sports a 5x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD screen.

The ES55 and ES15 models feature MPEG video recording and advanced movie mode; allowing consumers to pause and resume recording without having to save each video clip as an individual file. The Samsung ES55 and ES15 each feature a 2.5-inch LCD screen, 3x Zoom, Face Detection, Beauty Shot and Samsung’s Smart Album.

Samsung Australia’s Digital AV Marketing Manager, Sagar Dave said, “Samsung’s new digital camera line-up incorporates novel functions to create an enjoyable experience for non-professional photographers. With the convenience of user-friendly features anyone can produce the perfect shot.”

Samsung’s PL60, PL50, ES55 and ES15 are available now for the RRP of $299, $249, $189 and $149 respectively.
