Australian distributor for Cabasse, International Dynamics Australasia, is set to bring the Alcyone system which comes with small satellites to Australia next month.

The Alcyone 5.1 System from the Cabasse Oceo Series comprises of five miniature satellite spheres which measures 9.9cm in diameter, a Santorin 17 subwoofer, as well as optional floorstanding speaker stands.
According to the company, the satellite speakers offer usage for both on-wall or on-base placement, and are finished in either black or white gloss aluminium. It comes with a magnetic base, allowing them to swivel in any direction. In addition, it features an 8cm wide band ICF driver, weighs 0.7kg and claims to deliver high power output considering their compact size.
The Santorin 17, which is also available in either black or white, consists of a 200 watt amplifier and a 17cm downward-firing driver.
The floorstanding speaker stands are able to hide the speaker wires by threading them through one of the stand’s rod supports, allowing for a clutter-free display.
