It also supplied with a Navigator remote that also controls Azur amplifiers and docked iPods, as well as an IR (Infra-Red) Emitter In and RS232 connection for custom install use.
The 650T maximises the quality of all DAB broadcasts using its intelligent circuit design and implementation of the Wolfson WM8740 Digital to Analogue Converter. Cambridge Audio’s NCT (Natural Contour Technology) has been further enhanced which helps counter the sometimes ‘flat’ presentation of compressed digital sources (such as some low bit-rate DAB radio stations). Two settings are offered: ‘Warm’, which adds analogue-like warmth to ‘digital’ sounding programmes and ‘Lively’, which breathes life into the sound quality of heavily compressed programmes.
The Cambridge Audio is available starting this month for $699.
