Canon may have just hinted at a new line up of products from the camera manufacturer, with the company announcing its eagerness to show off new products and concepts at Photokina.
Go Tokura, Chief Executive Officer Image Communication Business Operations at Canon confirmed their attendance for the upcoming photography trade fair in Germany next year.
‘Canon is eager to introduce new products and concept products at Photokina, thereby contributing to the industry’s success.’
Tokura expects ‘Photokina to be a leading show of worldwide photo and imaging industry,’ believing that ‘the imaging industry is at a significant turning point’.
It comes after Canon Australia recently extended its standard manufacturers’ warranty to five years.
The suggestion is that Canon may unveil the EOS R Mark II, designed to mimic the ergonomics of the Canon EOS Rs and include a 75MP image sensor and dual card slots.
Though without more sources to confirm the rumour, we will all have to wait until May to see what Canon is cooking up behind the scenes.
