Users can also access a website, available only to iX7000 users, full of templates, including posters and standard business documents that are sure to impress.
Canon Australia’s Brand Manager for Pixma, Beryl Thomas said, “The iX7000 is the perfect printer for home offices. Three-way paper feeding allows users to easily and efficiently load different varieties and sizes of paper, with no need to change paper when printing different types of documents. With a wide range of Business Solution Templates, getting the professional results you want has never been easier or more convenient.”
The company has also launched two new multifunction printers, the MP640 and MP990, as well as a single function printer, the iP4700.

The two printers also come with wireless printing and scanning capabilities, and comes with applications such as CD and DVD printing, easy-to-create customised calendars and printed T-shirt transfers.
Both the PIXMA MP640 and MP990 enable users to print photos directly from memory card, camera or USB flash memory and produce photos that bring your memories to life quickly and easily. Auto Duplex printing, copying and scanning helps users to save time and paper, while new Auto Scan mode makes scanning quicker and easier by automatically recognising the type of original and saving scanned documents as PDF files and photos as JPEG images with one click of the ‘Scan’ button. The MP990 also includes film and slide scanning and features six individual ink tanks, including grey, which reduces graininess and produces stable grey tones.
The iP4700 lets users produce outstanding, vibrant photos and documents at home, with automatic double-sided and DVD/CD printing and two-way paper feeding providing flexibility and efficiency. The iP4700 can print a 6″ x 4″ photo in approximately 20 seconds.
Two-way paper feeding means that consumers can load photo paper in the rear tray and document paper in the cassette, eliminating the need to change paper when switching from photo to document printing. Five individual ink tanks let users replace only the colour they need, saving precious money. Easy-Photo Print with Auto Photo Fix II ensures photos have a professional photo finish every time.
“The iP4700 delivers high-quality prints at high speeds,” said Beryl Thomas. “The combination of value and versatility makes it a great printer for multi-taskers who need to save time and money but don’t want to compromise on quality.”
The iX7000 (RRP TBC) will be available next month while the MP640 (RRP TBC), MP990 (RRP TBC), and iP4700 (RRP TBC) will be available in October.
