Nintendo will be adding three new colours to its Nintendo DSi XL. According to the company, the DSi XL will be available in yellow, blue, and red from 23 September 2010.

The two original colours, burgundy and bronze, will still be available. For those unfamiliar with the DSi XL, this handheld unit has the largest screens on a Nintendo DS model, comes with bonus pre-installed software, and promises longer battery life.
In addition to the new DSi XL colours, Nintendo also announced two new games for the Nintendo DS.
The Art Academy: Learn Painting and Drawing Techniques with Step-By-Step Training! will provide users with tools to create their own works of art. It also comes with simple tutorials to learn about colour, shading, movement and perspective. Art Academy includes 10 mini lessons and more than 80 motifs that players can choose from to use as reference material when creating their art. It will be available from 23 September 2010.
Also coming to Nintendo DS is Tetris Party Deluxe – a game which includes more than 20 exciting modes, online battles, and multiplayer fun for groups of friends and family. According to Nintendo, users can host a local multiplayer game with up to eight players, by using only one Tetris Party Deluxe Game Card. The Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection also enables ‘World Battle’ with up to four players. This game will be available from 14 October 2010.
