Sony Ericsson is expanding its smartphone range with the new P1i handset, which offers a blend of multimedia and office capabilities in a smaller package.
The 3G smartphone is VoIP enabled, and features push email (including support for BlackBerry Connect and ActiveSync) and wireless LAN connectivity. It also features QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen QVGA display,
On the multimedia front it sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with business card scanner, a media player and comes with a 1GB Memory Stick Micro.
The phone is also 25 percent smaller than its P910 smartphone, the company says, and runs on Symbian v9.1 and UIQ 3.1, which is an open platform.
