Audio Products Australia is set to launch a new range of portable Denon audio products that include DLNA, Internet Radio and iPod/iPhone docking.The trio of one-piece docking speakers are set to be launched in time for Xmas.
The products have been unveiled by parent D+M Group in an effort to expand the Denon brand into the fast growing portable audio and headphone market.
An AC/DC Cocoon Portable is already shipping in the USA with the Cocoon Home, set to be launched shortly in Australia. A Cocoon Junior, has also been announced.
The Cocoon Home features a biamplified speaker system, four drivers rated at 25 watts each, DSP, and nine bands of digital equalisation.
Denon said the Cocoon Home and Cocoon Portable feature retractable iPod/iPhone/iPad dock, AirPlay, DLNA networking, Internet radio and curved styling. The Cocoon is a biamped two-way system with 100-watt output, and the portable version is 25 percent smaller and weather-resistant. The Cocoon Home will be available in black or white, and the Cocoon portable in black only .
All connections are housed in a solid metal base.
The Cocoon Portable features water-resistant construction, two full-range drivers tuned for outdoor usage, oversized rubberised buttons, a special rubberised back panel cover, integrated carry handle and a retractable slot for the included remote control.
