If you want to bring cinema style surround style entertainment into your home affordably, there’s now even more choice, thanks to Panasonic.

All models support Viera Link, which lets you connect to other Panasonic AV devices using only the remote control of a Viera TV.
The five speaker DVD home theatre systems have built in Dolby digital and DTS decoder. The Bamboo Cone speakers are made of a light bamboo material that helps achieve a pure, clear sound, says Panasonic.
Whisper mode surround dynamically boosts bass and surround channel levels to produce a full surround effect even at low volume.
The SC-XH150 and SC-XH50 are satellite speaker systems and include multi-format playback. The SC-XH150 has a built in universal dock for iPod and iPhone which plays stored audio and photo content, as well as videos via a compatible TV.
Both models also have an audio return channel, simplifying connection by sending audio signals from the TV back to the home theatre system using the same HDMI connection that sends audio/video signals to the TV.
Meanwhile compact Mini Systems – the SC-AKKX52 and SC-AKX12 are aimed at the family room with both models featuring a USB and music port for connecting a digital audio player or USB storage device.
Both systems also offer an AM/FM tuner, are made of the same bamboo cone speaker system and have an easy to read fluorescent display for channel selection.
In addition, Panasonic has also refreshed its popular PM range of Micro models aimed at the bedroom, study or kitchen.
The SC-PM200 and SC-PM500 integrate an iPod/iPhone dock for music playback, and offer USB playback. The latter two will be available from July.
