In combination with LogMeIn Free or LogMeIn Pro2, users can quickly and securely access all their applications and files on their PCs or Macs from virtually anywhere.
“The program has no firewall settings to be updated, no router configurations to be made, no ports to be opened or re-routed, and no need for static IP addresses. With full multi-function keyboard support and touch-screen zoom and scroll, users can be as productive as if they were sitting in front of their computer, including features for zooming, saving passwords, and controlling the mouse,” said the company.
LogMeIn’s Vice President, Access and Management, Andrew Burton, said, “With this latest version of LogMeIn Ignition, customers can use their iAnything – Pad, Phone, Pod – to instantly and securely access their digital lives, from wherever they are in the world. Whether it’s accessing an important file back in the office while you are camping in the woods, or showing off the latest picture of the kids you have at home, the iPad with LogMeIn Ignition is the perfect combination for keeping you productive at work and at play.”
LogMeIn Ignition for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch connects to desktops and laptops running LogMeIn Free or LogMeIn Pro2.
The app is available as a free update to current Ignition for iPhone/iPod touch users. New customers can download it from the iTunes App Store for a one-time charge of $36.99.
