Apple’s iPhone 6 will be released on Tuesday 9th September and it could include a 128GB version according to a leading French Apple blogger.
A promotional box for the new Apple smartphone has also revealed some new features including the position of the volume buttons and the new location of the power button.
The artwork on the promotional box reveals the new shape of the volume buttons which have a more rectangular look.
The sleep and wake button has also been moved from the top of the phone to the right hand side.
As expected, the fingerprint sensor used to lock and unlock the phone returns, while the charging port of the iPhone 6 now comes in the form of a Lightning connector.
The source also apparently claimed that a 128GB version of the phone will be available.
The leak by Steve Hemmerstoffer of nowhereelse.fr confirms that the device will have a flexible and scratch-proof sapphire screen, which is about to go into large-scale production in the US.
The screen is tipped to be ‘Retina display+’ with a 1,704×904 resolution.
Experts also predict a faster A8 processor, better rear-facing camera – possibly with changeable lenses -and wireless charging support.
It may also include a heart rate sensor like the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Last year Hemmerstoffer unveiled details on the iPhone 5S hours before launch, lending some credibility to the leak.
