Lexmark has launched its latest 4-in-1 inkjet printer, the X5470 with fax and photo.
Claiming to print up to 25 pages per minute in black and 18 pages per minute in colour, the X5470 is aimed at the home office user who is after decent specs and a compact design.
The X5470 has a 10 sheet automatic document feeder, photo features and PC-free photo, fax and copy capabilities, says Lexmark. Users can create borderless 4-by-6 inch photos via memory cards or PictBridge cameras.
By using an optional photo cartridge, the X5470 can print six-colour photos at a claimed resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch on photo paper.
A Web toolbar allows you to print selected text and images on a Web page or automatically format the page to fit on a standard page.
It is also backed by the company’s new Protection Guarantee which offers next-business-day replacement for up to one year. (Though it doesn’t cover accidental damage, theft or loss.)
“Seventy-five percent of the world’s leading banks, retailers and pharmacies use Lexmark’s printing solutions to save money and get more done. We are using our expertise from serving these demanding customers to develop products that bring business-class performance to the home,” said Lexmark’s Stephen Waugh.
