LG who have had a lot of success in Australia with their new range of Smartphones is set to launch a new LG G2 model with at least two carriers expressing interest in the new model that will have a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor running at 2.3GHz.
According to sources the new smartphone will have a new software overlay, new LG developed applications and a 5.2-inch Full HD display.
The device will come with 3GB of RAM, as well as a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. It is not known whether LG will stay with the glass back which on my Optimus G phone has already crazed.
ChannelNews understands that the name Optimus will disapear in the new range of G smartphones.

A leaked photograph from evleaks looks similar to the current model Optimus G.
An LG executive said of the new LG G2 “We will deliver offer something different and something unique.”
This phone is currently slated for a September release in Australia, and according to our sources LG is planning a global press launch shortly for the new device.
