LG Electronics’ new mobile phone website dedicated to the Viewty is launching today, which offers user-generated reviews and discussion about the company’s newest camera phone.
With the capacity to take 5 megapixel images, the Viewty – which was launched in Australia last week – also offers a 3-inch touchscreen, which together are a first for the Korean electronics-maker.
“LG Electronics has the confidence in the LG Viewty and believes consumers will be impressed with both the professional digital camera functions and the easy to use 3″ touch pad screen,” said LG Electronics mobile communications marketing manager, Carli Wilson.
“Through the website we aim to provide consumers with a unique way to experience the new camera phone and get open opinions from both the experts and general users as to the true quality of this product.”
The new phone focuses on features to the same extent as the brand’s previous offerings have focussed on design, signalling a new direction for the company.
The Viewty website showcases the camera phone’s functions and provides demonstrations on slow motion play back and video editing functions through its video reviews. It also offers opinions on how the camera phone compares with its rivals.
