This new handset runs on Google Android 2.2, has a 1Ghz processor, a QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and Flash Player 10.1 support. The Milestone 2 also acts as a 3G mobile hotspot to connect up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices, enabling a mobile hub of productivity.
MILESTONE 2 also features the latest version of Motoblur which manages all of your emails, messages and social updates in one place, a connected music player which displays lyrics for the songs stored on your phone, and 8GB of memory (expandable to 40GB via microSD card slot).
Motorola ANZ and South Pacific’s Managing Director, Timo Brouwer said, “Milestone 2 offers more power and more speed and has an improved keyboard, so you can send, access and share information even more quickly than before to manage your work and personal life. This introduction not only reaffirms Motorola’s commitment to innovate on Android but offers consumers the features they crave, including fast web browsing, messaging, application downloads and multimedia.”
The Motorola Milestone 2 will be available in Australia from December through Vodafone and Optus. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
