Aussies will soon have access to ‘Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker’ and ‘Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates’ to play on their Nintendo DS following their release on an undisclosed date early next year.
Distributor Ubisoft signed a distribution agreement with Square Enix to distribute the games in all PAL territories, including New Zealand.
Dragon Quest is “the ultimate monster-hunting challenge with over 200 marauding monsters to collect and battle,” says Ubisoft.
Players can train their team by mastering spells and abilities to crush rivals.

“After the great success of DRAGON QUEST since we introduced the series to Europe, I am extremely happy that we are now giving fans a chance to enjoy DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: Joker on the Nintendo DS. This is another stylish entry in the DRAGON QUEST series that will bring many hours of enjoyment to anybody that plays it,” said Square Enix president and CEO, John Yamamoto.
The Final Fantasy offering is the most accessible Final Fantasy ever, says Ubisoft. The game offers 3D levels, exploration and puzzle solving.
Up to four friends can team up and cooperate with Nintendo DS Wireless Communication.
Yamamoto says “With a strong focus on action and exploration FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES: Ring of Fates offers an exciting, fast-paced adventure. If you’ve never played a FINAL FANTASY game before, Ring of Fates is the perfect introduction and offers even more fun when played with friends.”
