Philips Sound is adding to its local audio range, introducing the BT6000 and BT6600 wireless portable speakers, both sporting a capsule-shaped design, protected by a splash-proof, rugged exterior, and delivering 360-degree sound.Both speakers feature Bluetooth and NFC and are capable of memorising up to five smart devices, with NFC allowing pairing via by touching of the smart device to the speaker, while audio-in additionally provides for wired connections.
Philips states the speakers deliver “wireless music streaming with a warm, natural sound”. The BT6000 is equipped with 12 W RMS music power and the BT6600 15 W RMS, with the speakers “also enhanced by proprietary Digital Sound Processing technology that optimises the performance of compact speaker boxes”.
The BT6000 is powered by a 4400 mAh eight-hour rechargeable battery, and the BT6600 a 6000 mAh 12-hour rechargeable battery, also coming with a charging base.
The BT6000 is available now at JB Hi-Fi for $179.95 RRP, and the BT6600 will be available in November at JB Hi-Fi for $249.95 RRP.
