Telstra has added four new mobile phones and a mobile broadband USB modem to its pre-paid range leading up to the Christmas season.

“We are launching the exclusive-to-Telstra Samsung S6700T which packs an excellent camera and multimedia experience; the Telstra T106 that sports BlueTick coverage performance for rural and regional areas; and, the Sony Ericsson T707 – an eye-catching flip handset that’s available in Mysterious Black and Spring Rose. Plus, for customers who are interested in ways to reduce their impact on the environment, we are introducing the Sony Ericsson Naite which has a casing that includes recycled plastics,” added Fielding.
The company will also be launching its pre-paid wireless broadband modem and will be giving 1GB of bonus data if a user activates their new Pre-Paid broadband service before December 31, 2009. Customers can also double their data allowance if they recharge $40 or more before the end of this year.

Sony Ericsson Naite |
The Sony Ericsson Naite is a bar-shaped mobile that is made with casing that includes recycled plastics and features a 2 megapixel camera, media player, video calling, 2.2 inch QVGA screen, HSDPA high-speed browsing and download capability. It will be available starting November 3 for $179.
The Telstra T106 is an affordable mobile that delivers superior handheld coverage performance in regional and rural coverage areas. It features a 2-megapixel camera with digital zoom, video calling, MP3 player, Bluetooth, speakerphone and memory that is expandable to 8GB. It will be available starting October 27 for $129.
