Sony has released two new motor racing games for PlayStation Portable: Ridge Racer 2 and MotoGP.
Ridge Racer, which Sony says is “one of the longest running racing game franchises in video game history” has been reinvented for PSP by Namco Bandai. The game comprises of 42 courses, 62 cars and three new racing modes. These include Arcade, Duel (on-on-one) and Survival (up to 8 players).
MotoGP, also developed by Namco, allows you to race against the likes of Rossi, Sete Gibernau and Chris Vermeulen on their latest bikes. Sony says as a bonus, the 2005 season riders are included – letting you compete against riders such as Max Biaggi and Alex Barros. Playing options include single race mode, time trial circuit training, championship season mode or multiplayer mode, which allows you to race against up to seven other players.
