New Samsung Note 10 Has Inferior Display & No Headphone Jack

Samsung has finally rolled out their new premium Note 10 after weeks of leaking information, the big surprise is the inferior 1080p screen and as tipped no headphone jack, a big plus is the elimination of the Bixby button on the side of the device, there is also a 5G model but it will cost you.

The Samsung flagship will be available on August 22nd with pre-orders opening tomorrow, and as tipped by SmartHouse the new Galaxy Note comes in two sizes.

Smaller than previous models and featuring a thin bezel and a centre aligned camera hole on the front of the device. On the back are three cameras including an “ultra-wide” 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a standard 12-megapixel option with f/1.5 and f/2.2 aperture options and optical image stabilization; and a telephoto 12-megapixel camera with OIS and an f/2.1 aperture.

The smaller of the two new devices has a 6.3-inch screen, so it’s not exactly small, what deceives is the introduction of a new wafer-thin bezel.

As for the display Samsung has surprisingly only delivered a 2,280 x 1,080 display which is basically an extended 1080p screen this is significantly inferior to the quad HD display found in last year’s model.

The key feature of the Note 10, the S pen, is still the big differentiator, this time round it includes an accelerometer and gyroscope for the first time.

What this means is that the S Pen can detects gestures like flicking in addition to the button presses and drawing on the actual screen, attendees at the New York launch have described the new feature as a ‘gimmick’.%name New Samsung Note 10 Has Inferior Display & No Headphone Jack

Samsung claims that it enables one to move between cameras or switching between shooting modes, using the pen.

The unique device can also automatically convert handwriting to digital text and let you export it into whatever format or file type you need, including Microsoft Word.
Samsung has not skimped with the introduction of a 64-bit, octa-core processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, this is the Korean Companies first 7-nanometer processor. There is also a 3,500 mAh battery that Samsung claims delivers a quick charge in 30 minutes that gets you enough power to “last through the day.”

The Note 10 comes with Android 9 Pie.
