Samsung Electronics Australia has launched a range of five new bagless vacuum cleaners with ‘whisper quiet’ technology but ‘super power’, offering a host of features to take the vileness out of vacuuming.
Outputting from just 73dB of sound, the vacuums are based on the brand’s Stealth model, released in 2007, however the new line-up offers both twin chamber and multi chamber models.

Ranging in price from $199 to $699, all five models reach a maximum 500 watts of sucking power, holding up to 2 litres of dust in an easy-to-clean chamber.
According to Samsung product manager – cleaning home appliances, Paul Lipscomb, the new range is set to make an impact with retailers and consumers.
“When purchasing a vacuum cleaner, consumers look for the two S’s, suction and silence. This new range of floorcare products aims to address both consumer preferences in maintaining strong, long lasting suction power, while operating at a whisper quiet sound level,” he said.
The two higher-end models offer Samsung’s own Multi Chamber System for cleaner air, whereby the vacuums’ dual filtration process isolates dust and debris from the air flow into the dustbin.
Removing the larger particles from the air flow and then in a second stage the finer particles, results in minimal clogging of the foam filter and maximum consistency of suction power, says Samsung.
All five models also feature Silver Nano System technology, which is designed to kill bacteria that would otherwise multiply within the vacuum cleaners.
“Samsung recognises the opportunity to increase its popularity in floorcare with the aim of developing its product and brand awareness,” said Samsung marketing manager – whitegoods, Nigel Cornford.
“Across Australia, we will run consumer promotions and have over 100 interactive in-store displays to demonstrate our exciting product range.”
