Sharp claims its new sound bar is designed to simulate surround sound without the added bulk and cost of a full blown home theatre system.The slim and stylish HT-SB200 has a low profile design, and is built for at-home use and ideal for wall mounting. It is compact, encases left and right integrated speakers, has an integrated powerful subwoofer, adjustable bass, treble and sub-level options. The unit can also be placed on a television stand with included mounting plates and adjustable feet to straddle the base.
It combines HDSS sound technology with SRS WOW HD decoder for a listening experience with deeper and more natural bass response.
For flexibility and simple setup, the sound bar features dual audio inputs, left and right RCA jacks and a 3.5mm sub-mini jack that allows for an additional audio source including an MP3 player.
Also included is a slim remote control, a programmed equaliser and an auto on/off button to save energy. The unit is energy efficient, with 0.6W or less power consumption in stand-by mode.
