As Nikon and Canon go head to head in a digital camera shoot out for market share Sony is set to join the fray with a new Alpha line of DSLRs.

Among the new offering is the Sony A560 and Sony A580 DSLR cameras. These new cameras are specifically designed to lift Sony’s sagging share of the digital SLR market that is dominated by brands like Canon and Nikon who both launched new camera’s in recent weeks.
The Sony A560 DSLR camera has several  similar features of the Sony A533 DSLR. This includes a 14MP sensor, an ISO range of 100 to 12800 and the ability to record videos in 1080i resolution.
The Sony A560 DSLR  comes with 15 AF points with some of them being cross-point, dual memory card slots and a swiveling display.
The only difference with the Sony A580, is that it has 16 megapixels.
