Niles Audio is set to launch a new lineup of neat new IP powered subwoofers which can be mounted on a wall.
The mini subs which include the SW6.5 and the SW8 are cube-shaped, both will come with a fingerprint-resistant piano-black finish.
The long-throw front-firing woofer will also have a dual long-throw side-mounted passive radiators, automated turn-on via a 12 volt trigger or audio signal sensing, and built-in CAT5 balun to enable audio delivery over CAT5 cable.
The SW6.5 features 6.5-inch active driver, two 6.5-inch passive radiators, and 200-watt RMS (800-watt peak) amplifier to deliver a frequency response of 42-200Hz.
The SW8 incorporates 300-watt RMS (1,200-watt peak) amp, an 8-inch active driver and two 8-inch passive radiators to deliver a frequency response of 36-200Hz.
The adjustable frequency control features a bypass position to eliminate the sub’s internal low-pass filtering. A variable phase control operates from zero to 180 degrees to allow for phase matching with the main speakers.
